Great response Dave Schools and good luck next month. BTW kids don’t ruin everything — just most things;). I told this to Dan a few weeks ago when discussing this article but that butterfly feeling you get with your partner from time to time is a daily occurrence with kids. The best advice I got before having kids was to get my ass in shape and that literally saved me as I have the energy to stay positive most days. Plus you are 28 — shit should be a breeze. Plus 2 don’t worry about money — your kids are going to take it either way;). Plus 3 I have 2 kids and visited 6 countries this year — the choice is up to you and you wife how active you want to be. I have lived in 3 continents and until 4 years ago had not lived in the same place for more than 2 years and settling down some has been the biggest challenge but finding things like writing etc have helped a great deal. I guess what I am saying is you have to make due with the cards you have but I have a feeling from reading your work is you will not be regretting a single moment of having kids. Sure it can be hard but anything worth having is.
