Completely agree with this point. My kid (age 3) goes to bed around 9 and my wife needs 2 hours to unwind or else she thinks her life revolves around his. I on the other hand like going to bed at the same time as my kid and feel great the next day when I do — but I also feel good watching bad TV curled up on the couch with my wife. I am guessing when I am 90 those moments will be the ones I miss. Not the killer meditation sesh I had at 5:10am on a Tuesday by myself.
BTW — why isn’t human contact on any early morning routine? If I kiss and hug my wife first thing my day starts better. always.
